The Sunday before election day we all put in our nominations for election day dinner. Each of the kids and mom and dad put in a nomination for main dish, fruit, vegetable, drink and dessert. Monday we all filled out our ballots, and Tuesday night we enjoyed the winners of the vote for dinner. The winners were pizza, strawberries, carrots, apple cider and Dibs ice cream bites. Yum!
P.S. Pardon Trey's outfit. He likes to wear a tshirt of mom's or dad's for pajamas. Although, I'm not sure who's shirt that is since neither Russell or I have a neck that large... Also, we had taken several pictures previous to this one. In each one, Trey's eyes were closed. I told him to try to keep his eyes open, which explains the bright eyes.

So I just want to know, how it came about that we were voting on this bill of food... I mean who acted as the legeslative, judicial, and executive to allow such fun?
